I am asked frequently, "What is the best way to install my straps?" and "What do I do with the doublizer?" The truth is that there are many different ways to install them and no one way is wrong. The method I suggest is to start by taking the doublizer off of the straps. Then go through the toe clip first, NOT the pedal. Once through the clip, go through the doublizer then back through the pedal and finally through the buckle. Adjust to the size of your foot and you are done. Leather naturally stretches at first, so expect a break-in period. Generally, after a month or two you will need to tighten the straps by one or two holes and they should be broken in. Enjoy!
Tip: A pair of vice grips will help pull them through the pedals.
